Dear Business Leaders and Concerned Citizens:

I know we are all aware of the many struggles we are facing during this pandemic crisis. As a pastor and ministry leader for over 20 years, I have never seen a time of such great uncertainty.  That said, I have watched our communities rally together in difficult times, to bring HOPE to people who have been impacted the most! That time is now.

I have received several calls to our ministry (RUSH Ministries) over the last couple of weeks from Personal options, Chamber of Commerce, and many families in need…some who have not eaten in days. We have tried to assist as many as possible, but this problem is bigger that any one organization. That’s where you come in! With a strong sense of urgency, I have secured a partnership with a Global Food Ministry to purchase a Truck load of food at a fraction of the retail sales price. 

With your partnership, we can provide hope and resources for children and families in our area, affected by the COVD 19 crisis. This Tractor-trailer will contain standard 400 boxes of food, 400 boxes of hygiene items, and 400 feminine dignity boxes. Each food box contains 25 lbs. of non-perishable food (canned fruits and vegetable, cereal, pasta, peanut butter, etc.). This box will supplement a family of four’s meals for up to a week. Each box of hygiene contains 12-15 lbs. of personal hygiene, and cleaning supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, body wash, shampoo, tooth brushes, tooth paste, etc). Each feminine dignity box contains miscellaneous beauty products. All the food and essentials products are first quality; not damaged, or near their expiration date. In fact, everything in our food boxes is guaranteed to be good for at least three months after the date of delivery. The total retail value of these items is $75,000-$100,000 per truck, but we can deliver one to our community for $15,000, just under $40 per family.

I know this is a lot of money, but we are stepping out in faith in ordering this truck to meet the needs of our beautiful community! Your financial partnership will help us bring this to our community within 7-10 days from now. We will take all necessary precautions by wearing masks, and gloves, while setting up a “drive-thru” dissemination process to keep everyone safe in this season!
